Our Response to COVID-19

Our lobby is open to the public (with social distancing precautions in place) and our customer service team is available to receive documents and answer questions.

FBCAD is still receiving forms, applications, and protest documents. Fillable forms are available online. Documents can be mailed to using the address below or submitted to info@fbcad.org.

In some cases, applications can be submitted online using FBCAD’s “e-Services” portal.

If you must bring something to the appraisal district; you may drop it off at Customer Service or leave it at our drop-box located near the flag poles, at the main entrance to the building located at 2801 B.F. Terry Boulevard.

County Judge KP George has lifted the masking requirements for county property, thus, employees and visitors are not required to wear any type of face covering while on county property.

The Fort Bend Central Appraisal District is a political subdivision of the State of Texas established in 1982 for the purpose of discovering and appraising property for ad valorem tax purposes for each taxing unit within the boundaries of the district.

The district has approximately 376,000 accounts to appraise each year with a total market value of approximately $107 billion.
