OFFICE OF THE CHIEF APPRAISER
July 28th, 2021

FORT BEND — Jordan Wise, chief appraiser of the Fort Bend Central Appraisal District (FBCAD), certified the 2021 appraisal roll following its approval by the Fort Bend Appraisal Review Board.

The appraisal roll contains the certified values of all real and business personal property accounts in the county. FBCAD’s statutory obligation is to accurately and uniformly value all property at 100% of market value for inclusion on the appraisal roll.

After certification, the appraisal rolls are transmitted to the county, cities, school districts, and other jurisdictions to begin the tax rate adoption process which ultimately determines the amount of taxes for each individual property.
